Cecilia Maria was an employee of the TV station in Cuenca, Ecuador. She was a fun-loving gal and the life of the party. A self-proclaimed Catholic, but not particularly a practicing one. Due to her schedule, and home duties, she never committed to attending the ladies Bible study at Unsion. We always maintained a relationship with her, even after she no longer worked at UnsionTV. She always knew our message of hope in Christ, but never indicated that she wanted more.

When Becky gifted the ladies of the Unsion Bible study devotionals funded by Light for the Lost, she also included all of the women who worked at UnsionTV, hoping that they would also be encouraged to read it and develop their relationship with Jesus. Cecilia Maria was one of these ladies.

Fast forward to summer 2024, 12 years after Cecilia received her devotional book. She sent Becky a message saying, “Dear friend... many years ago you gave me this book. Today reading it has changed my life. Every day a new message of faithfulness and transformation thanks to Father God. Thank you for being an angel in my life. I love you.”

Never give up on spreading the message of Jesus and reaching out to people in your sphere of influence. It is only the Holy Spirit who draws them, but when we do our part, He works the details and timing out perfectly to reach them for His kingdom.
